The PW5 is a WiFi 5-in-1 LED strip controller rated 20A and 960W across DC12-48V. It joins your 2.4GHz network directly — no hub or gateway to buy — and runs single colour, tunable white, RGB, RGBW and RGB+CCT tape from the Tuya Smart app, Alexa, Google Home, a 2.4GHz remote, or a plain wall switch.
Which Model Do You Need?
Twelve controllers share this platform. They differ on exactly two things, so pick by answering two questions: how do you want to control it, and how big is the run. Everything else — DC12-48V input, PUSH dimming, common-anode output, the wiring — is the same across all of them.

The 2-in-1 models drive single colour and tunable white. The 5-in-1 models add RGB, RGBW and RGB+CCT and cost about $2 more, so unless you are certain the run will never be colour, the 5-in-1 is usually the safer buy. 20A handles up to 960W; 30A handles up to 1440W.
What This Controller Works With

Not compatible with: Addressable / pixel tape is not supported. If your strip is marked WS2812B, WS2811, WS2815, SK6812 or WS2805, or has three pads (VCC / DAT / GND) with a chip on every LED, it needs an SPI controller instead — see the SPIR3 or SPIR5.
Count the solder pads on the cut end of your strip. Two pads is single colour, three is tunable white, four is RGB, five is RGBW and six is RGB+CCT. A chip marking such as WS2812B or SK6812 means the strip is addressable and needs an SPI controller rather than a PWM one.
Why 20A and 48V Matter
A typical 6A controller covers a few metres of tape. This one carries 960W at 48V — roughly four times the load — so a long cove or a whole-room perimeter runs through a single controller instead of being split with a repeater. The 48V support matters for the same reason: at 48V a run goes much further before voltage drop becomes visible at the far end.

App and Voice Control, No Hub
This is the WiFi version: it joins your 2.4GHz network directly and runs from the Tuya Smart app, Alexa and Google Home with nothing else to buy. Bluetooth is built in as a fallback, so close-range control still works when the router is down. It also still accepts a 2.4GHz RF remote, so anyone in the room can use the lighting without installing an app. The one dependency is your router — if that is a problem, the RF version has no network at all and the Zigbee version uses its own mesh.

Compatible 2.4GHz Remotes
B4 / B4-B / T4, B3 / B3-B / T3, FUT089 / FUT089-B, FUT092 / FUT092-B, FUT088, FUT096 / FUT096-B, B8, B0 / B0-B, S2W+, FUT100, FUT089S and C4. These are the Mi-Light / MiBoxer 2.4GHz remote family, so remotes you already own will pair. Sold separately.
Installation Notes
- Turn the power supply off before wiring.
- Match the supply voltage to the strip — a 24V strip on a 12V supply looks dim, and a 12V strip on 24V will be damaged.
- Select the output mode with the SET button before connecting the strip.
- Stay inside the controller's rated output, and add a second supply with a repeater on runs beyond it.
- Keep it away from large metal surfaces and sources of interference, which shorten wireless range.
- The housing is IP20 — mount it somewhere dry and ventilated even when the tape is outdoor rated.
