Installation Guides
Use these general installation notes as a starting point for LED strip light projects. Always follow the product specification and use a qualified installer for electrical work when required.
Plan before installation
- Measure the total length needed before cutting or mounting LED strips.
- Confirm voltage, wattage, and power supply capacity.
- Choose the right strip type for indoor, outdoor, cabinet, signage, or wet-location use.
- Use aluminum channels when you need cleaner diffusion, protection, or heat management.
Power and control
Match LED strips with compatible power supplies and controllers. RGB, RGBW, tunable white, and addressable strips require the correct control system. Avoid overloading controllers or long runs without proper power planning.
Mounting tips
Clean the mounting surface before applying adhesive backing. For long-term or commercial installations, use mounting clips, channels, or other mechanical support instead of relying only on adhesive.
