The SP633E is a Bluetooth RGB LED strip controller for standard 4-pin tape on DC 5-24V. Three PWM channels mix red, green and blue across the whole strip at once, with a full color wheel, dynamic and music-reactive effects, and your own DIY scenes saved in the BanlanX app.
What This Controller Works With
- RGB LED strips with 4 pins (V+, R, G, B) at 5V, 12V or 24V
- Common RGB tape such as 5050, 2835 and RGB FCOB / COB strip
- Three PWM channels at 6A each, 12A total (up to 288W at 24V, 144W at 12V)
Not compatible with: Addressable RGB tape with a built-in IC (WS2812B, WS2811 and similar) — that is pixel strip and needs the SPI model SP638E. Also not for RGBW or RGBCCT strips, which carry extra white pins.
Key Features
- 3CH PWM RGB control with a full color wheel and brightness slider
- Built-in dynamic, music-reactive and DIY effects, saved to an effect collection
- Three music capture modes: phone microphone, player streaming, or the onboard microphone
- Sequential channel calibration when the R/G/B order does not match your strip
- ON/OFF timers and OTA firmware updates
- Binds up to 5 remotes; unified or 4-zone control
App and Remote Control
BanlanX Bluetooth App
Bluetooth pairing in BanlanX takes a few seconds and needs no WiFi, account or hub. Pick a static color, run an effect, build your own scene, or let the onboard microphone drive the strip from whatever is playing.
Optional 2.4G Touch Remote and Wall Panel
SP633E also pairs with the optional RB3 / RC3 2.4G touch remote and 86-type wall panel (sold separately). One remote can drive several controllers, each controller binds up to 5 remotes, and the system supports unified ALL control or 4-zone control.
Wiring and Installation
Feed a regulated DC 5-24V supply into the controller input, then wire the strip to the V+ / R / G / B output terminals as shown on the wiring diagram. If red shows as green, run the color-order calibration in the app rather than rewiring the strip.
- Match the supply voltage to the strip: a 24V strip on a 12V supply will look dim, and the reverse will damage it.
- Keep total load inside the controller rating, and add a second supply or a power repeater on long runs.
- Mount the controller somewhere ventilated and dry — the housing is IP20 and not for outdoor or damp use.

Not Sure Which Model You Need?
The quickest check is to count the pads on the end of your strip and look for a chip marking. Two pads means single color, three means tunable white, four means RGB, five means RGBW and six means RGBCCT. A marking such as WS2812B, WS2811, SK6812 or WS2805 means the strip is addressable and needs an SPI model.
- Pick the SP634E RGBW LED Strip Controller if your strip has 5 pins (RGB plus a white row).
- Pick the SP638E Addressable RGB Controller if your RGB strip is addressable / pixel type.
- Pick the SP635E RGBCCT 5-in-1 Controller if your strip has 6 pins (RGB plus warm and cool white).
- Pick the SP630E All-in-One LED Strip Controller if you want one controller that covers every strip type.
Certifications and Support
Certified for the US and EU market: FCC ID 2ATV8SP63XE (Part 15C, 2402-2480 MHz), CE under the Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU (EN 300 328, EN 301 489, EN 62368-1, EN 62479), and RoHS to 2011/65/EU with amendment (EU) 2015/863. The CE and RoHS attestations cover all thirteen SP63xE models. Copies of the certificates are available on request.
Each unit ships with a printed manual and the BanlanX QR code. If you want the wiring checked against a specific strip before you order, send us the strip spec and we will confirm the match.
