Handle as an edge-light source: seat the strip along the acrylic light guide panel edge so light couples evenly into the panel. Cut only at the marked points (11.9mm / 0.47in, 2 LEDs per cut), observe polarity, and use a matched constant-voltage supply with at least 20% reserve. Keep the emitting edge clean and flush against the panel for a streak-free glow.
