10mm High-Temperature Sauna LED Strip – 24V, 120 LEDs/m, 8W/m

The 10mm high-temperature sauna LED strip is a 24V IP68 single-color LED tape built for the two conditions that destroy ordinary LED tape at the same time: heat and water. It is rated for ambient temperatures up to 100 °C and fully encapsulated to IP68, so it holds up to the hot upper air of a sauna cabin and to direct steam, löyly spray and wash-down. It runs 2835 SMD LEDs at 120 LEDs/m and 8 W/m on a 10 mm PCB, with CRI 90 color rendering and four white color temperatures from 2700K to 6500K.

Why choose this high-temperature LED strip

• Rated to 100 °C ambient: the reason to spec a dedicated sauna LED strip instead of ordinary tape — heat is what kills LED strip lights in sauna and spa rooms, not runtime.
• IP68 as well as high-temperature: most heat-rated tape is dry-location only and most IP68 tape is not heat-rated. This is both, which is what a real sauna or steam room actually needs.
• 24V DC, not 12V: longer usable runs with less voltage drop, which matters when you are wrapping a full bench perimeter from a single feed.
• 120 LEDs/m on a 10 mm PCB: a wider board spreads heat across more copper, and the LED spacing stays tight enough to read as a clean line behind a diffuser.
• CRI 90: cedar, hemlock and aspen grain keep their real color instead of going flat and grey under low-CRI light.
• 8 W/m: accent-level output sized for indirect, glare-free light rather than washing out a small timber room.
• Four white options: 2700K and 3000K for the low warm glow most sauna builds want, 4000K and 6500K for utility and changing-room areas.

Cutting and installation

Cut only on the marked cut lines between the exposed copper pads; cutting anywhere else breaks the circuit for that segment. Solder or use a 2-pin 10 mm connector, then power the run from a 24V DC supply sized with at least 20% headroom above the total wattage.

Two rules specific to sauna work. First, mount the driver, dimmer and any connectors outside the hot room — the strip is rated to 100 °C, the power supply is not. Second, an IP68 strip is only as sealed as its weakest joint: cap and seal every cut end and cable entry with silicone before the run is exposed to steam or wash-down, and leave the reel uncut where you can. Running the tape in an aluminum profile with a frosted diffuser protects it mechanically and hides the LED dots.
